In most cases, a fitting session isn’t required — our on-set stylists are trained to adjust garments live during the shoot, ensuring everything fits well and looks on-brand.
That said, fittings can be arranged when specific styling needs call for extra prep.
When is a fitting needed?
We offer a 1-hour fitting session included in the price in the following cases:
You have precise sizing or styling requirements that need to be checked in advance.
In this case, the model must already be selected. If you need to test-fit multiple candidates, we can organize an on-site casting. This service is billed at $650 per round of 3 model castings. You’ve selected the Complete the Outfit add-on, and there’s no variety of item options available on shoot day.
We’ll typically flag this scenario for you if we anticipate a need to check outfit combinations in advance.
How does a fitting work?
If a fitting is required, it happens after one of the following steps:
The model has been cast and confirmed
The additional outfit items (for Complete the Outfit add-on) have been sourced
Once those are in place, we schedule a 1-hour fitting session with the selected model. You can join either remotely or in-studio.
After the fitting, if everything fits and aligns with the brief, we proceed to soft-hold the shoot date — moving to the next stage in pre-production.
Each fitting stage adds up to 3 business days to your timeline, to allow for model/studio scheduling and coordination.
What happens if the items don’t fit?
If something doesn’t fit during the fitting session, we identify the root of the issue and take the appropriate next step:
If the issue is with the model’s fit:
We’ll organize a re-casting based on the updated fit requirements. This means running an on-site casting round to find a model who better matches the needed sizes. The casting is billed at $650 for 3 candidates. If the issue is with the outfit selection (for Complete the Outfit add-on):
We’ll review the fitting results with you, gather your feedback, and adjust the outfit plan accordingly. This might involve sourcing alternate items or updating the styling direction — all before moving to the shoot.
In either case, we’ll ensure the next steps are clearly communicated and scheduled, so the shoot stays on track.
Not sure if your project needs a fitting?
