We now offer two pricing options for your photoshoots: the newly added daily rates (available on our Services page) and the classic per-image approach. Daily rates give you more freedom to try different ideas without worrying about a specific shot count. Per-image pricing is great if you already know exactly what you need.

In some cases, your total project cost with a daily rate might be less than if you were to shoot with a planned scope and pay per image. However, in other instances, you may find the opposite to be true. So, what's the difference between the two models?

Daily rates

Pay for an 8-hour studio day, including prep, shoot, lunch, and wrap-up with a full team and equipment.

Best for:
Brands that want to try out different lighting,
styling, angles, and number of images.

Upsides

Downsides

  • More control of the process

  • More creative freedom

  • No image limit

  • Higher upfront cost

  • A kick-off call is required

  • On-set presence is required

  • Changes/delays add extra costs*

*If it turns out you need more time, we offer a 2-hour Daily Rate Extension at 35% of the daily rate. This way, you can capture any additional shots without committing to a full extra day.

Per-image

Pay for a specific number of images, with pricing based on each photo.

Best for:
Brands with specific project scope and defined shot list.

Upsides

Downsides

  • Low upfront costs

  • Pay only for what you need

  • No extra costs for delays or surprises

  • Less control of the process

  • Less flexibility for changes

  • Higher costs with more images

Both daily rates and per-image projects allow brands to create product images but cater to different needs. When booking a project with Squareshot, our Account Managers may suggest an alternative option that better aligns with your creative vision and budget.
