Centralizing Production in NY — LA Studio Closing

Key dates, shipping details, and what LA clients can expect during this transition.

Updated over a week ago

Starting October 15, Squareshot will centralize all production in our New York studio. This means that our Los Angeles location will no longer accept new projects.

While the physical LA studio is closing, our commitment to quality, workflows, and deliverables remains unchanged.

Effective Date:

These changes will take effect on October 15.

LA Studio Closing Timeline:

  1. October 3 — Last day to accept new requests in LA

  2. October 7 — Last day to accept deliveries in LA

  3. October 8 — Last day for shoots

  4. October 9–14 — Returns completed

  5. October 15 — LA studio fully closes

How It Affects You:

If you’re a current or past LA client, here’s what you can expect:

  1. Same process, same quality — Nothing changes in terms of workflows, deliverables, or pricing. Our NY studio has been operating long before LA and follows the exact same standards.

  2. Shipping to NY — With the LA studio closing, we’ll ask you to send your items directly to our NY location:

    13 Grattan St, LL1

    Brooklyn, NY 11206

For guidance, see our article on how to properly ship products.

  3. Active projects — If you cannot deliver items to LA by October 7, please ship them directly to NYC to avoid delays.

  4. Returns — All client items will be returned by October 14. If a return cannot be finalized by this date, items will be shipped to NY (shipping charges apply) or donated.

If you have questions or concerns, reach out to your Account Manager or email us at [email protected].

Next steps

We look forward to continuing to work with all our LA-based clients. Centralizing production in NY will allow us to streamline resources while maintaining the same level of service, turnaround, and consistency you’re used to.
