We have some difficult news to share: Squareshot is closing. Our final day of operations will be October 30, 2026.
A note from our CEO
On a personal note, I was recently mobilized into the Ukrainian military. After almost 10 years of building Squareshot, this made an already difficult decision to close the company even harder.
Squareshot has been a huge part of my life, and letting go of something I’ve spent a decade building is incredibly painful. But today, helping stop the genocide and defend my country is more important, and I hope I can make myself useful toward that goal.
Thank you for trusting us and for being part of this journey. It has meant more to me than I can put into words.

Timeline
Here's how the next few weeks will look.
Now – October 15
Photo shoots continue. Products need to arrive at our studio by October 13 to be shot by October 15.
AI projects are open.
October 15 – 30
We complete post-production on all projects shot by October 15.
Last day to submit an AI project is October 23. We'll deliver it by October 29.
Your last chance to download your images and request product returns.
After October 30
Squareshot is no longer active, and we won't be able to provide support.
Our brief form stays open. New briefs are referred to our partner studios.
If you're planning a new project
There's still time to work with us. Here's what's possible and by when.
Photo shoots
You can still share your brief as usual. To be shot by our last shoot day on October 15, your products need to arrive at our studio by October 13. We'll review your brief and let you know early if we won't be able to accommodate it.
AI projects
We can still create AI scenes using your existing product images. Submit your project by October 23, and we'll deliver it by October 29, leaving time for your review before we close. Take a look at our portfolio to see what's possible.
If you have a project in progress
Your current project will be completed as planned.
Every project shot by October 15 will have enough time to be completed in post-production, including if two edit rounds are needed.
We'll coordinate the return of your products whenever your project stage allows. You can also request a return at any time.

If you've worked with us before
A few things to take care of before we close.
Download your images
Please make sure you've downloaded all digital assets from your previous projects by October 30. We can't guarantee access to your files after that date.
Request your product returns
If we still have any of your products, please request their return as soon as possible. Any items we're unable to return will be donated.
Balances and memberships
If you have an open balance or an active membership, we'll reach out to you directly to settle it.
If you need photos after October 30
You can still get your next project done through our partner network.
You can keep submitting briefs through our website. We're partnering with our network of studios to refer our clients, so our website and brief form will stay open. When you submit a brief, we'll pass your order on to a partner studio.
Please note that after October 30, we won't be able to provide support or respond to other requests.
