Booking a Model Shoot: Key Requirements

Updated over a month ago

Before booking a model shoot with us, there are a few key details to keep in mind to ensure a smooth process and the best possible outcome.

Minimum Order Requirements

  1. Per-image projects require a minimum of 20 images for full-body model shoots and 10 images for hand/foot model shoots.

  2. Per-hour bookings have a 4-hour minimum.

If your project includes fewer deliverables, no problem — you can still move forward by covering the difference between your selected image/hour count and the minimum. This helps account for model booking time and pre-production efforts.

On-Shoot Approval Is Required

All model shoots include on-shoot approval. This means you’ll have the opportunity to review content live — either remotely or in-studio — as it’s being captured.

Model shoots involve moving parts — poses, expressions, styling, and product placement — all of which benefit from live input. On-shoot approval helps us align with your vision in real time, reduce the need for reshoots, and ensure the final images meet your expectations before retouching even begins.

Can I combine product and model shots in the same project?

Yes — we can organize model and product shots within one project. There are two ways this can work:

  1. If you need to oversee the product photography:
We’ll structure the project with a model shoot part and a per-hour product shoot part. The per-image product option isn’t suitable here, as this setup requires on-shoot approval for the entire project.

Check this article about the difference between per-image and per-hour projects.

  2. If you don’t need to oversee the product photography:
We’ll structure the project with a model shoot part and a per-image product shoot part. In this case, the product portion will be shot separately, according to our internal planning, while the model portion will include your presence.
