How does it work?

The process and stages vary depending on Project type ("Per-image" or "Per-hour") and Shoot type (Product, Catalog, Creative, or Model).

PROCESSES

Note: All business day ranges mentioned are averages — some stages may be completed faster or take longer depending on the project.

(Per-image) Product shoot

Brief confirmation (Days 1-2)

  • Day 1: Brief submission
    Here, you’ll complete your shot list, clarify preferences, and upload references to help us fully understand your vision.

  • Day 2: Kickoff call (Optional)
    A quick call with our Lead Photographer and Remote Producer to align expectations, clarify the brief, and ensure a smooth start.

  • Day 2: Proposal approval
    We’ll send over a project proposal with pricing and scope. Once approved, we’ll move into pre-production.

Item delivery (Days 3-6)

  • Days 3-6: Delivery/drop-off
    Ship your products to one of our Studios. We'll provide the address and receiving instructions. If you're local, drop off your products at our studio during business hours:

  • Day 6: Delivery processing
    Once received, we inspect and log your items to confirm everything aligns with the details confirmed in Brief and is ready for production.

Payment processing (Days 6-7)

  • Days 6-7: Invoicing
    You’ll receive the invoice based on the approved proposal and any additions.

  • Day 7: Payment
    Once you pay, we’ll move to the shooting stage the next business day.

Production (Days 8-15)

Based on your brief, we're preparing scenes, props, lighting, and other elements.

  • Days 8-11: Photoshoot
    The shoot is underway. Our team captures the agreed visuals with precision and care.

  • Days 11-15: Retouching
    Selected images are edited to meet pre-approved visual goals.

Final approval (Days 15-17)

You review the retouched images and provide feedback or approval for delivery.

Product return (Days 17-18)

Your items are being prepared for return to you.

  • Day 17: Return request
    Please request a return via the Client Portal and let us know how and where you’d like your products returned. Return options

  • Days 17-18: Return shipment
    Your items are shipped back per your return instructions. Tracking details will be shared.

(Per-hour) Catalog & Creative shoot

Brief confirmation (Days 1-3)

  • Day 1: Brief submission
    Here, you’ll complete your shot list, clarify preferences, and upload references to help us fully understand your vision.

  • Day 2: Kickoff call (Optional)
    A quick call with our Lead Photographer and Remote Producer to align expectations, clarify the brief, and ensure a smooth start.

  • Day 2-3: Proposal approval
    We’ll send over a project proposal with pricing and scope. Once approved, we’ll move into pre-production.

Soft hold on shoot date (Day 3)

We temporarily reserve a shoot date while pre-production details are being finalized.

Item delivery (Days 4-7)

  • Days 4-7: Delivery/drop-off
    Ship your products to one of our Studios. We'll provide the address and receiving instructions. If you're local, drop off your products at our studio during business hours:

  • Day 7: Delivery processing
    Once received, we inspect and log your items to confirm everything aligns with the details confirmed in Brief and is ready for production.

Payment & Scheduling (Day 7)

To lock in your shoot date, payment must be made in full. Once we receive it, we'll confirm the schedule.

  • Day 7: Invoicing
    You’ll receive the invoice based on the approved proposal and any additions.

  • Day 7: Payment
    Once payment is made, we’ll finalize your shoot date and complete the pre-production steps.

  • Day 7: Shoot date confirmation
    Your shoot date is officially confirmed. All prep work is now underway.

Awaiting shoot (Days 8-10)

We're in the queue for production. All assets and planning are ready to go.

Production (Days 11-15)

Based on your brief, we're preparing scenes, props, lighting, and other elements.

  • Day 11: Photoshoot
    The shoot is underway. Our team captures the agreed visuals with precision and care.

  • Day 11: Image selection
    You’ll review unedited images and select your favorites for final retouching.

  • Days 12-15: Retouching
    Selected images are edited to meet pre-approved visual goals.

Final approval (Days 15-17)

You review the retouched images and provide feedback or approval for delivery.

Product return (Days 17-18)

Your items are being prepared for return to you.

  • Day 17: Return request

(Per-image/Per-hour) Model shoot

Casting (Days 4-6)

We source and propose models that match your brand. You’ll review and confirm the casting or initiate the next round. Learn more about castings.

Item delivery (Days 7-10)

*For model projects, item delivery is optional — products can be brought directly to the shoot and picked up the same day. However, prior approval from our team is required for this option.

*This stage is optional and takes place only if requested by the client.

  • Day 13: Outfit sourcing
    Our stylist sources outfits based on your brief or creative direction and then shares their selections with you for approval.

  • Days 12-13: Fitting
    We try on selected outfits with models to ensure the right fit and look before the shoot.

Our client portal provides you with a single place to manage all of your projects. You can request photo shoots, accept proposals, make payments, review images, manage your membership, get project updates, and many more.

NOTIFICATIONS
